Aims and Objectives

These are Ulverston Mind's aims and objectives.
|
|
|
Ulverston Mind''s Objectives are:
1. To support and befriend anyone suffering from a problem that affects his or her mental health, and to promote mental health.
2. To create a trusting and positive environment in which self-esteem, self-acceptance and social integrity are encouraged.
3. To combat the stigma of mental illness.
In fulfilling these objectives, Ulverston Mind''s primary aims can be summarised as follows:
a) To offer appropriate services
b) To provide information
c) By education and campaigning to raise awareness among the wider community of mental health issues.
